The electrical service, the wire coming from the street pole to the house, should not touch the house. If the angle from the street does not allow this, then a mast and a weather head should connect the service to the house.
This photo is an I-Joist (TJI) used to support the floor and the second story of a single family home. I-Joist require a minimum bearing of 1 ¾ inch. The bearing on this I-Joist falls far short of the requirement.
When ventilation is poor in your attic moisture builds up and mold can grow. This photo shows mold growing along the truss in this attic.
This is a photo of a steel support column found in a basement. The column in question is about 2 inches out of plumb from floor to ceiling.
This is a photo of water damage found in an attic. There was improper flashing on the chimney that allowed moisture to enter the house.
This is an I-Joist that is supporting the floor below a double Jacuzzi Tub. The builder cut the top flange while installing the plumbing. You can not cut or notch the flange on an I-Joist.
This is a photo of a flexible air duct used for the HVAC system. Openings in duct systems can reduce air volume at the register.
This new hot water heater did not have the extension pipe leading from the TPR valve to the ground.
The missing shingle and flashing will allow water entry and moisture damage.
No overfill pan in attic.
